It was one of the basic ingredients in the so-called white dish, a stew usually consisting of chicken and fried onions cooked in milk and seasoned with spices and sugar
Summer Chicken Salad
- 2 Chicken Breasts organic, cooked and diced
- 1/2 Cup Red Seedless Grapes sliced in half
- 1/2 Cup Celery finely chopped
- 1/2 Cup Peas Organic, cooked and cooled
- 1 Apple Organic, finely chopped
- 2-3 Tbps Vegenaise Soy-free
- 1 Tbsp Fresh Dill Or dried
- Sea Salt Iodized Celtic or pepper to taste
- 1 Bunch Dino Kale or mixed greens
- Combine all ingredients (except dino kale or mixed greens) in a large mixing bowl.
- Mix gently.
- Serve over a bed of greens or wrapped in dino kale.
