I just watched your presentation on the Viral and Retro Summit, and I wanted to tell you that your personal story was very encouraging to me! I thought my struggle has been difficult, and it is nothing comparable to what you overcame! I was diagnosed with Lyme’s some 20 years ago, and I struggle with many serious autoimmune issues. But I never had cancer, and, although my doctor suspected Crohn’s when I was having abdominal issues (that were Leaky Gut, long before Leaky Gut was a known phenomenon), I was never diagnosed with that. Hearing you keeps me fighting, like all those other people who never give up. I am still suffering, but I have learned a lot, changed a lot, and improved my situation a lot, so I keep going. Thank-you for your positive presentation! I took home a lot!

Thank you! I know you don’t know me but your work has inspired me to open my own cash-based functional medicine practice. I don’t think many people know that it’s possible.

I honestly and adamantly think that the world is a better place because of your dedication and expertise. I can’t imagine how hard it was for you but thank you for everything you have done.

I am a retired Physician who practice Radiation Oncology for 40 years, but also did Metabolic Medicine one day per week for 25+ years. At the Alternative Clinic I treated everything, cancer, heart disease, strokes, autoimmune, chronic fatigue, Autism, etc. The crazy thing was many cancer patients kept themselves alive for 3-5 years after failing conventional treatment by using a variety of glycolysis inhibitors (including 100,000 to 125,000 mg Vit C drips given over 3 to 3.5 hours) and special diets very low in sugar. The goal was to get into or close to ketosis, as this decreased the main cancer food, sugar. Diet was always a mainstay in therapy for any metabolic misadventure. I want to give your work a big thumbs up. No one is going to be healthy on a diet bad diet. The low amylose diet is one of the hardest to follow, but one of the most rewarding for “HLA challenged” individuals with biotoxin syndrome. Conventional medicine is so far off the rails that it is embarrassing. Kudo’s to you. We have a son who lives in Denver, and he keeps me working on taking my long term Metabolic Medicine experience and putting this into a website “ThePatintsCorner.com”. He keeps telling me that his generation is really looking for alternatives to drug pumping. Thanks you again for your excellent rendition of the Low Amylose Diet. Keep up the good work.

Good day Jill, you Motivated me very much. In the Last years, I prepared to become a registered German Naturopath (Heilpraktiker). The webinars of Functional Medicine Practitioners I attended as often as I could. Best wishes from Europe.

After I spent years seeking answers from other practitioners, Dr. Jill uncovered some health issues that no one else had found. With a plan in place, I quickly began feeling better and had more energy. Moreover, I appreciate her incremental and gentle approach to troubleshooting health challenges. In one case, this very likely allowed me to avoid what would have been a very expensive surgery. I’m so grateful for her help!

Our 12-year-old home was remediated after the builder, architectural and window failures caused moisture to seep into our walls. Our Construction team sent out and ID’d 15 different types of mold. I was hospitalized for breathing issues because of the mold (now Dx Interstitial Lung Disease) and have since suffered multiple bouts of diarrhea after eating mushrooms, almonds dusted with cocoa, and pineapple. My family doctor, Board Certified in Internal Medicine, isn’t educated on mold, but after all stool cultures came back negative for the usual, is reading YOUR ARTICLES that I sent him. If it weren’t for your website, and the knowledge you are sharing, I wouldn’t be surviving this. Thank you for educating us and helping with the healing!

I just wanted to send a quick thank you for your time and advice today. I am so appreciative and I feel hopeful that the plan we have can really help me. I’ve been sick for a long time and recently I’ve been rather discouraged with where I’m at with my health. I believe that God has allowed our paths to cross and that He is going to use you help restore my body to health. Thank you for giving me hope. Blessings, Kara

Hi, Dr. Jill just wanted to say how impressed I am with your work. I recently heard your podcast with the arthritis summit. I am currently a corporate chef, while in transition to become a personal trainer, but plan to use functional medicine in my with my clients. As a former bodybuilder, the function of the body has always been my passions. It’s so nice to see real nutrition in today’s society. Most of the mainstream trends, which too many folks read, give the wrong criteria. Keep up the good work! Thanks for all of the great free info you offer,

Dr. Jill is the best of the best. You will never find another physician who is more knowledgeable, better trained or more compassionate to walk through even the most complex of medical cases. After seeing myriads of specialists, I finally found help with Dr. Jill as she understands the interplay of all of the systems in the body. Her unusually deep knowledge of biochemistry and her ability to draw from natural, alternative or traditional allopathic drugs and treatments make her almost a “unicorn” find among doctors today. Her staff is also very organized and super friendly.

Dr. Jill is simply brilliant. I wish there were more duplicates of Dr. Jill to reach all of us who need her guidance while suffering from mold illness. Jill Carnahan, MD what is your top 3 specific diagnostic tools to identify mold toxicity with a known 2 month with no spleen (from Hodgkin’s) and known exposure to mold in the ventilation system at a former apt resident. What specific lab do you order and what lab can my physician order a mold panel blood study from? God bless you and keep you well Dr. Jill!

Talented, quick-witted, caring doctor who can help the most mysterious and difficult cases, just like mine. After years of digestive issues, living a clean and healthy lifestyle and eating a great diet, I had issues with oxalates, FODMAPs, pain, adrenals etc. In 4 weeks in and the unthinkable is happenings – my gut is healing for the first time in years. So excited.

Good Morning Dr. Jill. Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing your story!!!! I wish I could hug you. I “coincidentally” came across an article if yours about healing the subconscious mind. As I then read your story I immediately connected with you. Although I haven’t had to fight physical ailments per say, emotionally is a different story altogether. My faith in God is my foundation, I’ve recently become awake “to the healing of yoga, the power of gratitude and more. My next bug hurdle is nutrition. I am a work in progress. Please keep writing and teaching. May He bless you and keep you. Dana

At the risk of gushing… I want you to know how much you are appreciated. Your inner light shines brightly for many in a dark, lonely world of ill health. Your caring heart comes through and that means a lot (along with your incredible wisdom). God has gifted you to do great things, and it’s obvious that you have not taken that “mission” lightly. Just know that your efforts do make a huge difference. We are so appreciative of the handful of doctors out there (you being at the top of that list, in my mind), who care enough to stretch beyond the borders of traditional training, take the time to figure it out, and go the extra mile to educate others. Your blog has been extremely helpful for me, and I return to it time and again for reference. I have, also, passed along your website info to many of my friends, who also have benefited from what you share. God bless you, Dr. Jill. You are one in a million!
